🌿 Legacy Through Art
Roots & Brushes is a reflective art experience designed for older adults to explore personal legacy, creativity, and community connection through hands-on activities.
Centered around the legacy tree symbol, this program honors the stories, wisdom, and values that elders carry.
Seniors engage in meaningful projects such as legacy leaf painting, memory tile art, and affirmation banners, each inspired by prompts like:
“What do I want to pass on?”
“What have I carried since childhood?”
“What advice would I give a young artist?”
These activities are joyful, accessible, and dignifying — with time for quiet reflection and optional sharing.
